About Silhouette
“Silhouette” represents our romanticization of the past -- the temptation to breath new life into old memories, feeding old flames, until their shadows eventually consume us, becoming our new reality.
As Luka continues to chose the past over the present, he wills his shadows into existence, allowing them to take physical form. Faced with the battle of choosing to move on or forever be held captive by what could’ve been, Luka debates his decision til the end — can he really let go?
“Silhouette is my vulnerable lyrical journey about the challenge of letting go of my partner's love. Harmonic vocal layers mentored by Bobby McFerrin, a tender rhodes piano progression, and seductive electric guitar counter-melodies depict this downtempo dream. A final chorus captivates with introduced synth and bass for a cathartic sonic release of emotions.

About Luka
Luka is a singer songwriter from Brooklyn. With hypnotic/emotive vocal layers, Luka produces vulnerable songs, offering cathartic release from complex internal monologues. Inspired by evocative vocalists like James Blake, , Thom Yorke, Steve Windwood, Moses Sumney, Janis Joplin, and Kelsey Lu Luka’s music is a form of cinematic and alternative pop-soul. Luka infuses creative vintage piano riffs and electric guitar with adept vocal harmonies for a sonic journey. His music holds experience from years of hosting of MusiCollage, a New York-based group singing workshop, and from studying Circle Singing under Bobby Mcferrin.
